So this morning I woke up….. no actually I didn’t! I had to have some assistance…

This is certainly not how I prefer to wake up in a daze not knowing what happened! This is not good, not good at all and certainly not a lovely way to spend New Years Eve morning! I will say I am fine now.

Since this morning got off to such a rough start Jason and I enjoyed some hot tea prepared by the awesome jason himself. Actually for the last few mornings and nights we have been enjoying hot tea. I am learning how to make the perfect cup of tea! Oh yeah! It was a gift Jason received for Christmas. A very splendid gift for Jason and I both prefer hot tea!

Last night Jason, good friend matt, and I went to go see the Sherlock Holmes movie. I decided to put on my red sneakers – which i hadn’t worn in probably almost a year!

Cool right? Well at least I thought so I couldn’t tell whether people were staring at my shoes or just my outstanding personality! HAHA

Either way all was good and I throughly enjoyed the movie. To be totally honest I either never read a Sherlock Holmes book or can’t remember reading it and that was just fine. My simple brain still understood the whole movie and my favorite part was the relationship between Holmes and Watson!!!! The witty humor was FABULOUS!!! I laughed so much it was awkward at times because I felt like I was the only laughing so hard at some points.  I am glad we went to go see it.

So Madison took one for the team and suffered a third degree burn or at least in her mind she did! We were working on her Funfusion again which is actually lots of fun. It is just plastic pegs that you put together to form a picture and when you are done you iron them so they melt together and stick.

Well I warned Madison that the iron was on and VERY HOT. I guess she wanted to find out if I was telling the truth. She leaned right into it and then didn’t tell me about it till 15 mins after. Crazy child. She didn’t cry when it happened but when i saw it and realized what it was the flood gates opened!! She will not be touching the iron again.

Well as I said earlier this is New Years Eve. I can’t really say I have any resolutions. I am not really great at following through on any I have made in the past. I guess I am sort of a work in progress always

I do hope to continue writing. I thank all who come and read my blog. I encourage any to leave feedback and comments for me as I hope to improve as I continue on my writing adventure.  For those that already do come and read and comment I thank you so very much! It means so much to me to have the support!
