Christmas 2011 Recap

I am excited to finally be getting this up. No I am not behind but many blogs I read had them up right away and I just couldn’t do that. We had a super Christmas. I wish that I had felt a little better. I don’t know what the deal was but I was run down Thankfully I am feeling better now. The girls however had a great Christmas. We spent it with lots of family. We had some great food and i do believe they were most happy with gifts. Allie did get the only thing she had been asking for ALL year and Madison with her huge heart is still thanking me for the things she received. She also can’t believe Santa got it right either. This year she wrote her note, put it in an envelope and mailed it off so no one could see it

First off I was really excited about some of the wrapping paper I found this year.

Following the example from my friend Amy, Santa did a great job with the presents and he even decorated the house with snowflakes!! The kids were amazed when they woke up this year! Thanks Amy

Christmas morning Allie was able to get almost half of her gifts opened before Madison had even started into one.

The girls put on a little show for us. Allie played her recorder and she had Madison sing. My favorite part. When Madison sings the song alone, at the end of the song she goes high note. When she is singing with Allie, Allie plays a note lower and a little off-key and Madison trys to sing it that way. I love it, the two of them working together. Allie does a good job of pulling Madison out of her shell in front of people. However it was just family in the room
