The Santa Train… Choo Choo!

Posted on 08 December 2011

Last weekend we headed to Cumberland, Maryland to take the 1 hour train ride on the steam locomotive to the North Pole aka Frostburg, Maryland.

My dad rides his bike 350 miles every summer on the C&O canal and this ride takes him through Cumberland where he and Ann learned of this ride to see Santa. So the whole family (13 of us) took the four hour drive up. Here we come Santa Train.

  • Cumblerland, MD so pretty.
  • Train, ahhh brings the kid out in me.
  • Santa house we had cookies and hot chocolate while we waited to see him.
  • Santa and Mrs Clause, well you can make judgement call on that…
  • The Trip… magical :)

Ahhh, I love seeing Cumberland. It’s one of those towns I was just sure NO ONE knew about. I was born right up a hill from there! I will be there in exactly 1 week. So glad you had a good time, it looks like fun!
